Unique Meditations at the London Centre
Posted In: Kabbalah Centre International Posted On: October 12, 2015

This fall, the London Centre welcomed the Spiritual Leader of The Kabbalah Centre, Karen Berg, to town for two weeks of consciousness and inspiration. Karen visited London to give a new class, Neshima La Neshama, The Journey to the Soul Chakra Breathing Workshop, which she has been working on with a student, Mike Fliderbaum.

The Neshima La Neshama, The Journey to the Soul Chakra Breathing Workshop focuses on opening each of the seven chakras, or energy points in the subtle body, through an active and breath-heavy process. Together with Mike, Karen gave two classes at the London Centre. Despite there being a tube (subway) strike in London that week, many people still made the effort to attend this unique class. “Both classes were very intense, with students feeling real breakthroughs in their energy,” says Garry Sermanni, who volunteered at both events. “There were tears and laughter and intimacy. I have never heard a class spoken about so much before.”

Around 45 students attended both classes, including two students new to the Centre. In this intimate setting, students had a unique and engaging experience with Karen.

Michael and Monica Berg were in London as well to share consciousness with the local Kabbalah Centre community. Monica gave a lecture called ‘Fearless’ to a crowd of 100 people, while Michael spoke before Shabbat to some 200 members of the London Centre. “I love the way Monica embodies what she says and reflects all of the work that we as students want to achieve,” says Leah Ana, a student at the London Centre. “It’s a great push to see and feel – through what she shares and, simply, her energy – how much we can truly grow and change even the hardest and scariest parts of ourselves; because you can see in her that she’s been through that process and that’s both an inspiration and proof that we can all get there.”

In addition to the classes and lectures, all three members of the Berg family celebrated Shabbat Ekev at the London Centre together with about 200 members of the kabbalistic community.

In the midst of such chaos in my life, I have been able to find peace through studying Kabbalah. Without any doubts whatsoever, I would highly recommend anyone to call. I am so thankful for The Kabbalah Centre, because it has made all the difference in my spiritual growth and development.

Kabbalah is the best gift I have had this year. But it did not come easy. It is a result of a lot of hard, focused, and disciplined work my teacher guided me through. Often I had to go out of my comfort zone to apply the tools. But the satisfaction and confidence I now feel is indescribable.

Now I look back and question what exactly I did and how I managed without these teachings in my life.
