Of course, it’s important to make goals, and of course, it’s important to work hard to reach them. But what happens when we are so focused on our goal that we miss opportunities that are handed to us along the way? What happens when we spend 30 years working in order to retire and then reach that place and say, “Now what?”

Some people work and work and work in order to eventually have the freedom to spend more time with their kids, but then by the time they get to that ”eventually,” their kids don’t even know who they are.

It is human nature to forget that from the moment we enter this world to the moment we leave, we carry a spark of the Light of the Creator within us.

Even though we might have aspirations, desires, and a place where we want to be, the energy of the Creator is here right now, in this day, right here in this moment.

As spiritual beings, our primary goal is to live life to the fullest. Sometimes the road is rocky and full of hurdles that we must jump, but we mustn’t forget that the Light is in the process itself, now and forever.

After all, as John Lennon said, “Life is what happens when we are busy making other plans.”
