"There are two ways for an individual to be awakened, to change, to grow, to cleanse. One, the more common one, which usually wakes up more people than the other path, is through pain and challenges. The purpose of pain, as we said, is two-fold: to both cleanse the negativity that the individual has done in this and previous lives, and to awaken the individual to connect more, to change more, to grow more. That's one path of transformation. The other path, where the individual receives so much Light and so many blessings he knows he has not earned and that his negativity should not allow him to receive, then says that because of it, he has to become awakened. That's the second type of awakening…" – Michael Berg on the portion of Acharei Mot-Kedoshim 2021
This period of time is full of spiritual opportunities. The seven weeks between the holidays of Pesach and the holiday of Shavuot is known as the Omer, which serves as a ladder of spiritual transformation. This time provides us with a cleansing energy we can use to excavate the good and blessings within any potential challenges that might arise.
Let's see what the universe has in store for us this week.
First of all, the beginning of the week is packed with powerful karmic lessons, which each of us should make an extra effort to recognize. As the North Node and the sun conjunct in the sign of Taurus, they form a powerful aspect with Saturn that acts as our spiritual teacher. This is a time when we all will want to be tuned in—especially in regards to what kinds of emotions and familiar old reactions may be brewing under the surface.
We also have Mars in Cancer forming a positive aspect with Uranus and Mercury in Taurus at the beginning of the week. This will teach us to balance our emotions while reminding us that we are loved. Support and protection are provided to us; we just need to learn how to trust.
Our ego button is being pushed as we end the week (Thursday and Friday) with a Leo Moon (square Mercury and Uranus in Taurus). Be mindful of any social pressures or desires to be seen in a good, favorable light. No need to show off or fake good feelings just for the sake of being accepted. Remember to be true to yourself and honest about what you feel and desire, especially towards the end of the week.
