Welcome to the week called Shmini. The word shmini means "eight." So it’s no wonder that this year the week of Shmini begins with the rising sign placed on Scorpio, which is the 8th sign. And the North Node, which represents the final "goal" of the chart, is placed in the eighth house that rules the deep transformations we go through in life.

Whenever a person has a Saturn transit his eighth house, he experiences some of his deepest transformations. This week marks the end of Pesach. At this time, we journey through the 49 days of transformation called the Omer. Scorpio comes this week to help elicit a deep desire for change within ourselves.

For example, a very serious person who never gives compliments to others may realize during Pesach that they have a deep desire to become lighter, smile more, and give more compliments in life.

Here are three tips to achieve a meaningful spiritual rebirth:

  1. Take constant baby-steps.
  2. Pick yourself up when you fall.
  3. Don't give up; keep going.

Have a good week!
