The week starts with a dark sky as we head into the New Moon of Capricorn on Monday night. The Moon opens the week in opposition to Jupiter. This is a good time to study and explore ourselves inwardly and outwardly so we can see the Light in all situations. The energy at the moment may influence us in a way that makes it hard for us to decipher our emotions and thoughts. It can also amplify situations. Breathe and relax. Let the universe guide you. Sometimes, it is okay to sit with the questions and not rush into problem-solving.

This week, we have the last T-cross between Jupiter, Mercury, and Saturn. This occurred three times because of Mercury’s retrograde. Be sure not to feed anger within yourself and try to use your emotions constructively. This is the moment to seek and understand our truth—not from the point of view of judgment, but to be real about who we are. If there is anger or frustration we have not dealt with yet, or if we find ourselves blaming others for situations we are not happy with, then it is time to release those old emotions. Let go from a place of power, understanding that every situation that comes to us is part of this journey of our soul.

Monday, the Moon moves to Capricorn, even though the Sun is already nine degrees into Capricorn. Capricorn energy is slower and more thorough, as it wants to control everything and follow the rules. This energy is persistent and calculated. Make space for your emotions. Make some room for your existence. Do not try to dictate everything; allow yourself to laugh, enjoy life, and embrace others.

Tuesday night the Moon moves to Aquarius and will conjunct Pluto, which creates emotional ups and downs. Both of these things will be in opposition to Mars retrograding in Leo. If you’re spending time with your family or your loved ones, make sure you are approaching them with positive vibes. Avoid bringing up old arguments or engaging in violent outbursts or anything that can increase the intensity of the day.

Friday, Venus (the planet of love and relationships, money, and sensuality) moves to Pisces, its place of exaltation. As it is moving together with the Moon, this is very good for female initiation, but because of the hard aspect to Mars (the planet of war), we have to be careful about interactions between male and female energy. Short meditations can calm the intensity of this aspect and help us look at life in a more positive and realistic way.

This weekend helps us approach confrontations in a new way: with love. If we need to deal with something, then we should deal with it. But the question is: How do we deal with it? Ask yourself if you are open to brainstorming or open to hearing the other side. Take note if you really just want your opinion to be heard, one hundred percent convinced that you are right and there is no possibility for others to bring anything to the table. How is your approach serving you? Is it truly serving you? Or is it keeping you in your comfort zone? Sometimes, when we are in a place of familiarity, we stop blessings from coming into our lives.
