With this week’s intense cosmic shifts and aspects, we should all strive to remember Karen’s message inspired by this week's unique energy.
We are nearing the end of the month of Leo, which is ruled by the sun. The sun is our source of Light. And this tremendous amount of Light can be powerful and supportive, yet it doesn’t always show up in merciful ways. Too much Light can burn and consume us if we are not well prepared.
In the middle of the week, the planet Jupiter (which enjoyed a few months of softer and more companionate energy in the sign of Pisces) goes retrograde, entering into the sign of Aquarius again. Jupiter in Aquarius creates an opposition with the planet Mars in Leo. This shift of energy takes us back in time to the first few months of the year, when Jupiter in Aquarius highlighted all the fixed signs.
Watch out for anything that might awaken our stubborn nature—anything that will naturally make us feel more stiff, angry, and volatile. If we are aware of this danger, we can avoid any explosions or aggressive behavior. On Thursday, there are few more challenging aspects between the celestial bodies that are currently in fixed signs (Saturn, Uranus, the sun, and Mercury). As a result, we might feel a repressive energy by forces that are bigger than us, and our sense of individuality may feel threatened, as well. In order to avoid this energy, we need to make a bigger effort to demand and claim our own power. That’s why desire and effort are the key components to elevate and transform this week’s energy.
Utilize the fire from within. Leos have the ability to gain control and take charge, directing this energy within instead of towards the outside world. The Light this week will be revealed through actions and consciousness of overcoming challenges—especially the energy that naturally moves us to become tougher and harsher from within.
