Astrology Forecast for the Month of Aries 2020

We are in the final days of lunar Pisces, which means we are about to enter a completely different time zone: the one of fiery Aries! Let’s get ready for a brand new and vivacious energy! As it happens, Rosh Chodesh of Aries/Nissan is an essential cosmic milestone, since it signals the Astrological New Year. It’s time to prepare ourselves spiritually and mentally for the birth of the New Moon Wednesday night and Thursday.

Before examining our spiritual opportunities of the month, let’s take a closer look at the cosmos. First, Venus (which represents health) and Uranus (which represents unexpected chaos) are detaching from each other, so an energetic slowdown may be in our future. In addition, the sun in Aries is now conjunct to Chiron the healer; that, combined with the coming of the spring in the Northern Hemisphere, will hopefully bring some energetic relief. We cannot say we are in the green zone yet, but this feels like a definite improvement compared to the past few months.

Kabbalistically, we must remember that keeping ourselves healthy is a positive action (mitzvah), whereas a lack of care is a definite spiritual short circuit. So, let’s be proactive and reasonable, as the Rambam (Maimonides, great physician, and ancient kabbalist) would recommend.

This coming week is very much about closure. We are to closely examine things left unfinished and seek resolution in all conflicts. The universe wants us to correct and amend all domains of life before entering a brand new life cycle. The present may feel like a fantastic exercise in letting go of unnecessary baggage. In short, time for a good clean up!

Let’s examine the star of this month: Aries, or the ram—the Zodiac baby!

This is a brilliant sign! Those born under the sign of Aries are very quick at understanding new concepts. They are gifted with a great learning mind and plenty of humor, but they are also incredibly impulsive. Those born under Aries experience great hardship controlling their hearts. Since their main drive is love (not unlike their Libra counterparts!), these natives will do anything for the sake of romance, and will certainly never refuse a good compliment! The key to understanding Aries is to remember that in their hearts, they are still ten years old, and this will remain true all of their lives, hence their youthful curiosity!

On closer look, we find that Aries is the water (right column) of the fire signs, which accounts for their complicated emotional system. Water and fire do not really mix together well; therefore their thought processes can become really complicated, mentally torturing themselves for days.

Aries are also solid and brave and make great soldiers. They are usually courageous because they do not think of the consequences at all. Seemingly very volatile, they will quickly calm down and regret their explosions. Fantastic troupers, they are always ready for a new project or venture…or even a good fight!

Those born under Aries are indeed ruled by planet Mars, the zodiac warrior. In Aramaic, Mars is called maadim, from the word, dam, blood! The Aries tend to hurt themselves, metaphorically bleeding all the time! A significant amount of those born under Aries are very creative and make great actors and movie directors.

In day-to-day life, Aries hold the gold medal of forgetfulness and clumsiness, and make terrible liars! That’s because they can never remember what has been said before! The keyword for Aries is: freedom. It is what they thrive for. But of course, the cosmos is here to challenge them. Often times, huge authority issues will arise in their lives, and they will prefer working on their own or for themselves. The idea of freedom can also create obstacles in love and relationships, and angels of patience are required of their life partners!

The organ ruled by the sign is the head; countless head injuries occur in their lives, and often times, their faces bare many scars. (Additionally, care should be taken to not overthink everything!)

Abraham Maslow, Charlie Chaplin, Francis Ford Coppola, Maya Angelou, Vincent Van Gogh, and Leonardo da Vinci are great representatives of the sign.

Chodesh tov and a happy new astrological year to all! Stay healthy!
