We’ve all experienced moments where it seems the Universe is telling us something. If you want to receive direction and signs from the Universe, you must first accept that those messages are being sent to you all the time. The Universe is there to support you, and part of that support is through the signs that are constantly coming your way. The more you open yourself up to this idea, the more likely you are to see the signs and understand them properly. Simply having the thought that everything has a purpose begins shifting our consciousness in ways we don’t even realize.
Absolutely everything that happens in our lives - everything we see on TV and every person who says something to us - contains a message. It doesn’t mean you have to decipher or understand everything, but you can live your life knowing the signs are always there if and when you need them. Living with this frame of mind allows you to start seeing the messages more and more clearly.
For one day, try looking at everything as being purposeful. You will likely start to notice signs you would’ve normally overlooked. If it works for you, start incorporating this practice each day.
We all have the ability to see the signs around us, but most of us don’t because we are too busy with our day-to-day lives. Navigating work, checking in with friends and family, returning phone calls, planning meals, and especially being consumed by the negative thoughts that weigh us down. We live in a very noisy world. Not just the sounds of traffic and crowded streets but the noise of the fears, doubts, and insecurities that distract us.
If you want to access that voice of the Creator, allow for stillness and silence. Make time to sit and reflect with a clear mind, free from distractions, especially after moments of chaos or hardship. That silence is where we can get the deepest messages and learn the most about our world, ourselves, and others. If you want to receive the messages of the Universe, get quiet so you can hear them. Listen for the whisper in the chaos.
Although everything we experience has a message for us, not everything that everyone tells us is truthful. We can sometimes struggle to know which direction the messages are meant to point us in. Deciphering the meaning in the message is a skill that needs to be developed, and it begins by getting in touch with the truest part of ourselves, the soul.
The wisdom of Kabbalah teaches that we already have all the messages we need within us; we just need to be able to access them. This requires putting time, effort, and energy into developing the aspect of ourselves that is all-knowing: our souls. Your soul knows more than you can ever recognize. When you know yourself, you can trust yourself. Second guessing undercuts the power of the messages the universe is constantly sending you. Heed the messages of the mind, body, and spirit connection. The more honest you are with yourself and the more you learn to trust yourself, the easier it becomes to determine what you should listen to, no matter what it looks like or who it comes from.
The Universe is constantly sending us messages. We can choose to see them as random events, or we can find meaning in everything that comes our way. Seeing the signs is not just a nice addition to life but an important foundation for our ultimate fulfillment. Be open to the messages, make time to hear them, and get in touch with the truest part of yourself, and you will find meaning, answers, and direction in places you never expected.
