The Best Gift We Can Give

Karen Berg
March 14, 2015

Sometimes the best gift we can give another person is the gift of ourselves: our attention, our love, our simply being there for them. The gift of sitting with a friend and crying together. The gift of caring for someone or something that is not within our usual scope of care. The gift of sharing without looking for credit or being known as this “good guy.”

The best gift is the gift we share when we give because our heart tells us to, because by sharing this way, we come closer to the energy of the Creator. This sharing is the giving that comes from our inner spirit, from our inner Light.

We all have this gift to give. The only question is whether we choose to exercise it or not.
