Dear Friend,
The great kabbalists taught that the true beauty of a blessing lies not in its possession but in our ability to share it with others. That by enriching the lives of others, we contribute to making the world a better place. To be truly fulfilled by a blessing, to elevate it to a holy status, we must find ways to share it with others, because when we act from a place of selfless love, the joy we receive in return is immense. And the blessing truly blossoms, for us as much as the person we’ve shared with.
It is only natural that we desire good things for ourselves, all of the things we think will bring us happiness and fulfillment. And yet the kabbalists teach that true fulfillment is not achieved by asking the Creator to give us things we want, but rather by asking ourselves how we can bring joy to the Creator and to one another.
Your support of The Kabbalah Centre is a tremendous blessing, for us, for you, for the world. Your sharing acts reveal more Light than we will ever have the capacity to understand. As more and more souls discover the wisdom in kabbalistic teachings, more and more darkness is transformed into Light. Your generosity, expressed through sharing, transcends the physical world, leading to deeper perspectives and experiences of connection.
It is nothing short of a miracle in action. And we deeply appreciate you for embracing an ethos of making the world a more beautiful, more energized, more joyous place.
We are thrilled to share our 2023 Gratitude Report with you. Here, you’ll see how your donations are revealing Light around the world, as well as an update from our CFO, Angelo Federico, on our activities so far in 2024.
In 2023, we once again reached more new students than the previous year. To bring Light to conflict-laden regions of the world, we held a Global Zohar Day of Unity in which 1K students channeled Light for the world in a sharing consciousness call – and then proceeded to share 27.5K Zohars in a single day. Monica, with a little help from our daughter Abigail, published the second book in the On Being series for children, The Tale of the Other Glove, a beautiful story that brings out our innate sense of empathy. Monica also launched a relationships masterclass, Rethink It: Love, that so far has couples raving. And our podcast, Spiritually Hungry, is gaining more listeners every week, inspiring people all over the world to take time for their souls and discover tools to help them transform their lives for the better. Details on these and so many more amazing initiatives are found within the pages of this year’s Gratitude Report.
We are immensely grateful for all of you. You are truly inspiring souls who continue to work tirelessly supporting the mission of the Rav and Karen: to share this wisdom with, and thereby completely transform, the world. Thank you for your commitment to this goal. We hope that you find within these pages inspiration to continue championing the vision of The Kabbalah Centre.
Warmly,
Michael & Monica Berg
