Light Emerges from Darkness

Just as something as pure as the spirit of Rachel the Matriarch came out of the difficulty and negativity of her father Laban’s house, so, too, do our own trying times in life create openings through which we can receive the spiritual energy we need to push us forward on the path of our soul’s evolution and growth.

Light doesn’t come from Light. Light comes from darkness. Sometimes the hardest, most painful moments of our lives can lead to our deepest moments of serenity and connection to our own internal truths, and it is at these times that we can experience the beauty and fulfillment of the Divine.

Today, take a few moments to look back on the most difficult moments of your experience. Can you see how these times brought you to a better place?
