Remember Where You Came From

Each one of us has our own path to traverse, our own way of bringing ourselves closer to the Light of God. Nevertheless, we can never forget our roots. Even though our parents or those closest to us may not be who we want them to be, or may not agree with our ways, or may not agree with who we are, we must remember to treat them—and every person, in fact—with respect and human dignity.

We may not agree with the way our parents raised us and we may not raise our kids that way, but we must never forget that if our soul hadn’t chosen to enter our body and to grow in that environment, then perhaps we might not have gotten to where we are today.
