The High Priest wore four kinds of gold clothing, which meant that for most of his priestly functions, he was magnificently dressed. But when he approached the Creator inside the Holy of Holies in the Temple, he wore only the most simple of linen clothes: white pants and a white shirt.

Every day, we dress ourselves for the world, in effect creating and projecting an image for the sake of others. But when it comes to talking to the Creator, we must offer ourselves simply and honestly. The Creator knows who we are and what it is that we need to do.
