We are delighted to present Kabbalah for Kids—a series of interactive classes created to support and empower your children during these challenging times. Through discussion, hands-on activities, and kabbalistic insight, your child will gain the necessary tools to thrive while engaging with other children. This class is best suited for children ages 9-13 years.
Class 1: In and Out of My Control
Between a global pandemic, divisive society, and life's many storms, things can seem out of control, especially to our children, which can make them feel worried or fearful. This session will help your child feel more in control by identifying and focusing on what is in their power, how to adjust to change, and how to find the blessing in disguise.
Class 2: Be Yourself
We often tell our children to just be themselves. But it is easier said than done. In this session, your child will learn how to recognize and appreciate their unique qualities, so they can be more loving and compassionate toward themselves and others.
Class 3: The Stars and Me
Astrology is an excellent tool for understanding our personalities. It gives us a framework for recognizing why we struggle with some things, while other things come easily. In this session, your child will learn about kabbalistic astrology and how we can use it as a map to navigate toward the best version of ourselves.
Class 4: Divine Texting – Prayer and Meditation
The Zohar states: "This world remains structured only as a result of the breath of little children studying and praying." In this session, your child will learn how prayer and meditation can help keep us centered and calm in trying times. Students will gain insight about the various ways one can pray and how to integrate a meditation practice into their day.
