Chanukah Party & New Moon of Capricorn

New York - Midtown

Chanukah contains an energy unlike that which we experience on Pesach or during the High Holidays. The kabbalists call it Or HaGanuz, or “the hidden Light”; it is the unique Light that permeated the world directly after Creation, containing the fulfillment of completion, and everlasting love. Each year, we have an opportunity to connect to this energy on the eight days of Chanukah. Join us for a jovial evening as we welcome Karen and Michael Berg to our annual Chanukah party – a Latin-themed celebration that will also feature a connection to the New Moon of Capricorn.

  • Kabbalah teaches that the Light of Chanukah connects us with the energy of miracles. Like flipping the switch upon entering a dark room, the simple act of lighting the menorah candles turns on the Light, initiating this flow of energy. As we light candles at specific times each night with pure intentions, we establish a connection to the vast cosmic reservoir of miraculous energy made available during Chanukah. Below is the lighting schedule for the 8 days of Chanukah. Please note multiple Locations.

The Zohar teaches that every week of the year has its own unique energy that – when channeled through spiritual work – can assist us in every aspect of our life. As we grow and apply the power of each week’s energy to our life, we begin to experience a change in our consciousness, which in turn allows us to see the world through a much larger lens and generate major shifts in our lives. Everyday life looks a lot different when you’re tuned in to the big picture, as the change in perspective allows you to shed the trivial, overcome challenges and take control – week by week – of every facet of your life.

Kabbalah 1 is a paradigm-shifting course that reveals the secrets of kabbalistic teachings, the golden rules you can master if you seek more fulfillment in your life. Kabbalah explains that there is the world that we see (the physical world) and a much larger realm, just as real, that is unseen (the spiritual world). We are souls from the spiritual world living in bodies of the physical world. The wisdom of Kabbalah explores both, explaining the spiritual laws of the universe in order to improve and enhance our life experience in this world.
