Astrology Forecast for January 3-9, 2016

Hi Everyone! I hope the holiday season went smoothly for each of you!

Let’s take a look at our new plan for this week…

Good news! First, the cosmos slowly balances itself in terms of elements.

This week’s chart is actually very even, with a stronger presence of fire. Planet Mercury, the zodiac PR, is already in airy Aquarius, a place it feels very comfortable in! Mercury is in the 7^th house, which means this is the perfect time to inject energy into all new partnerships, and relationships in general.

At the beginning of the week, the moon will be in balanced Libra, while Venus has progressed from intense Scorpio to much lighter Sagittarius. Mars, the cosmic warrior, just entered strong Scorpio. This will create more fuel for all of us.

It appears the cosmos is grooving!

So far, so good.

Although, cosmically speaking, starting new things isn't recommended per se (as we are already in the descending phase of the moon), many seeds and ideas can still be planted. They will actually grow and develop thoughout the rest of the year.

So, where’s the catch?

A peculiar phenomenon is occuring this week: 80 percent of the planets are located in the Western hemisphere of the world’s chart. The West is the sphere of the "other." The universe is urging us to reach out and invest more energy into others. What’s new? The kabbalistic system is all about sharing anyway!

The point is we are in the month of Capricorn, ruled by heavy and intense Saturn, which makes it 10 times harder to actually reach beyond ourselves! Capricorn energy is all about personal control, as we mentioned a few weeks ago. Going out of ourselves this time of the year is a major endeavor because we are going against the stream of this month.

And now let’s get ready to hear all our inner complaints and objections!

"I am back to work, tired, cold, hungry. I need a massage. I wish I was in the Carribean forever. Oh, not more work again!” Our inner voice is so loud; how can we think of sharing right now?

Who do you think is talking? Definitely not our soul!

When was the last time you heard, "Gosh, I need to save the world today!” or “I haven’t shared enough,” or “I’m going to jump out of my comfort zone!" THESE are the true messages from our souls, and in most cases they are too faint to be heard!

These soul thoughts are loud and clear to kabbalists and very spiritual people, since they have trained themselves to be receptive to them. As for ourselves, we still need to WORK to hear them.

Here are three simple steps for spiritual good health:

The first step is a small transplant. We ought to inject these thoughts voluntarily into our consciousness. That’s exactly the push the cosmos is giving us this week – the clarity to realize we should stretch towards the "other."

Since we are still in lunar Capricorn, and this sign looooves arduous works, we get an extra injection of will power to do just that!

The second practical step, is that whenever we spend too much time listening to the numerous requests of our dear bodies, we should tell ourselves, "Oh boy, I haven’t shared enough. Let me reach out to someone quickly."

Finally, We should be meditating on Hey Hey Ayin (the 72 Name for love and compassion) all week.

This will be a beautiful way to close the lunar month of Capricorn, as next week we will happily enter the lunar month of Aquarius.
