Astrology Forecast for November 27 - December 3, 2016

Hi everyone! This week, we are leaving lunar Scorpio, and finally entering the Sagittarius zone! By the comments of many friends and students, this past Scorpio month has been a real rollercoaster of sweat and tears! It’s now time to harvest the gifts of our tough emotional labor.

This week’s chart opens up as three planets are already positioned in Sagittarius. The moon is ending its cycle in Scorpio, and is thankfully located in the fifth house of the chart, the house of Leo.

At the same time, the emotional water energy is slowly diminishing, leaving space for healthier and more optimistic fire. In kabbalistic astrology, the element of fire, signifies action, energy, moving forward, and creative ideas. This week is a great time for a reboot, and to take a look at things through a different lens.

In a way, the cosmos wants to credit us andfinally get rid of that lingering feeling of emotional bankruptcy. We are feeling lighter and more inspired. It’s therefore, a fantastic moment to spend quality time with loved ones and share experiences. Sagittarius is all about friendships and the good life!

With the renewed cosmic fire, it’s highly recommended we start learning something new, rebooting our brains, as well as our emotions! It’s time to feel free and limitless, to open ourselves up to the possibility of new beginnings in our lives.

So far so good!

Now for the challenges.

Inevitably, when we talk about fire, we have to bring up ego (and drama) issues. Sagittarius is ruled by giant Jupiter, which in Kabbalah symbolizes the expanding, the magnanimous, and larger-than-life energy of the zodiac. Our friends, the intrepid Sagittarians, think they know it all!

This week, Jupiter makes it easier to spot what we need to change, because everything is surfacing, everything is amplified. Take the idea of ego, for example. It’s sometimes really difficult to see it in our character. Sometimes, it’s obvious; arrogance, for instance, is bold! But ego sometimes wears a more complicated mask – shyness, false humility, even flakiness!

This week, due to the Scorpio moon, a lot of hidden feelings, even intimate ones, are likely to emerge. But it’s all for the greater good! You will probably hear yourself fighting criticism, or defending your ego for just a little bit longer! We will realize that we are trying to disguise or hide the truth. The klipot (shells or masks in kabbalistic terminology) really die hard!Like vampire legends, when exposed to the sunlight, they simply combust!

Many of our hidden thoughts—things we don’t want to admit to ourselves—lie in our subconscious (the deep Scorpio realm) will now be exposed by the Jupiterian boldness. The fact we can actually see these behaviors is a huge gift! We cannot heal a disease we don’t know exists, and sticking a name on our spiritual “bacteria” will greatly assist us in finding the cure. Our only real enemies are, in fact, our egos and pride.

Kabbalists wisely ask: who needs an ego? Is my ego essential for my survival? Do I need to be right all the time? Do I need to let people know what good I do, how great I am, or how much I know? Actually, quite the opposite! It’s diminishing to all the good things we do to publicize our actions. This is a great week to plan plenty of secret acts of positivity!

The second item of homework is to avoid reacting to criticism. (This will prove challenging, indeed.) Why would we keep rotten merchandise in our closets? Let’s simply clean it up! I highly recommend meditating on the 72 Names of "Revealing the Concealed" this entire week, so the Light will be felt all along.
