Astrology Forecast for the Kabbalistic Year 5777

Hi everyone! Happy cosmic New Year to you! May this year bring blessings of love and Light to everyone around the world!

Let’s examine the forecast for the entire year to come so we are prepared to move forward.

The chart of Rosh Hashanah, which is the seed level of the year to come, is two-fold:

On one hand, many planets (a total of four planets) are in Libra, the sign of peace and the star of this week. Most planets are in the sixth house—the house of work and service. The others are all in Aries with revolutionary Uranus on the ascendant. The chart shows an imbalance: some of us will be in the Libra/peace side, while the others will be caught in the swirl of more chaotic and unexpected events.

The first important feature this year to note is Jupiter entering the sign of Libra, the sign of peace. Jupiter is, of course, the expander of the zodiac. Libra is the sign of conscience and idealism and Jupiter in this sign will guide us to grow beyond divisions and conflict. We can expect breakthroughs in our lives, and the ability to see higher perspectives, beyond negativity and grumpiness. We will, indeed, feel braver, with a clearer picture of what is right or wrong.

Big ideas will emerge globally. Libra is an air sign, an initiating and cardinal force for ideas that have the power to make a big impact.

We'll see the reframing of things. That changes everything and opens the way to real harmony. There could be a rebalancing of the narrative that brings it in line with what's fair and true. This could restore faith, another promise of Jupiter.

When Jupiter has been in Libra:

  • The Peace Moratorium – In October of 1969, millions came to Washington to protest the Vietnam War, in the largest ever gathering of its kind. There were also candlelight vigils and protests across the country.
  • Love beads and Love-ins – The hair style went long and straight at the end of the 1960s, a very Venusian, natural look. Handmade "love beads" were strung into necklaces and worn. Libra, John Lennon staged his Bed-In for Peace, and “Make Love, Not War” was the meme.
  • Facebook Launched – In 2004, it began with the stated goal of expanding social networks. This synced with a Jupiter in Libra year, and everybody started collecting "friends."

During Jupiter’s transit through Libra, it would be wise to come together and partner up in order to grow. This will be the most fruitful frame for pursuing our goals.

Our goals this year should be:

  1. Set a common goal within relationships
  2. Expand social circles and attend worldly events
  3. Use negotiation and moderation
  4. Avoid drama and exaggeration; respect Libra’s balance and moderation (Jupiter, as we know, can be quite judgmental!)
  5. Avoid making too many concessions to a partner or accepting too many compromises on behalf of negotiation (This can lead to mistakes and resentment?.)
  6. Avoid egocentrism—a real no-no!

Spread the good news: Jupiter in Libra will bring the breath of fresh air we all want and need!

Another aspect to watch is the square between Uranus in Aries, and Pluto in Capricorn. It has gone on for several years and comes back at the end of 2016 through the beginning of 2017. This will bring big changes in money to both Main Street and Wall Street, for sure. This is a major economic rebalancing, or “market correction,” with equal winners and losers. Sometimes the gains are directly at the expense of others.

This year (5777) is one that will get us to either paradise or to hell, until 2020 when all the planets will be aligned in Capricorn (Capricorn will see the birth of a new leader, or famine and destruction.) Our job is to get it in the right place.

Shana tova (Good year), everyone! To be continued…

Love,

Yael
