    1. Hasty and sudden: connect to the impulse for self preservation, occurs tormented or trapped
    2. Settled and deliberate: a reaction to perceived deliberate harm or unfair treatment
    3. Dispositional: relates to personal character traits like irritability
  • Identifying the primary emotion that causes our anger: anger emerges when we feel fear, hurt, frustration or powerless
  • The effects of anger on our body
  • Holding people accountable is not the same as blaming them for how you feel
  • Three ways to get out of victim mentality:
    1. Acting loyal
    2. Expressing anger
    3. Exit
  • Giving away our power through blame
  • Creating grievance stories: describing painful things we endure, but do not heal from
  • Empathy and giving the benefit of the doubt
  • Choosing what we worship
  • The way we behave towards others is the way the Creator behaves towards us
