Rav Berg teaches that when Tisha b’Av falls on Shabbat, Satan’s power to create chaos is nullified, allowing us to connect only to the positive aspect of Tisha b’Av: the energy of Mashiach, which is the energy of absolute certainty. Further, on that Shabbat, we begin reading the Book of Deuteronomy (Sefer Devarim), which Moses revealed in the month of Shevat (Aquarius). Just as Shevat allows us to tap into the energy of Mashiach, the reading of Devarim also strengthens our connection to that consciousness.
