The 15th day of the month of Aquarius (Shevat) is designated as the new year of trees. On this day, the Plant Kingdom receives spiritual nourishment for the entire year. Tu B'Shevat is our opportunity to connect with the consciousness or energy intelligence of trees and the ability of plants to defy gravity, which assists us in resisting the gravitational pull of our ego.
