In preparation to receive the light of Lag Ba'Omer and connect to Rav Shimon Bar Yochai, it is necesary to start developing a connection to the energy of the Zohar by studying and scanning it every day.
The Kabbalists teach that the 49 days after Pesach, known as the Omer, are some of the most energetically powerful days to become the person your soul truly desires. The 33rd day of the Omer, known as Lag b’Omer, is a window in time during which the universe gives us support in this spiritual work, as it is the author of the Zohar, Rav Shimon Bar Yochai’s day of elevation. Rav Shimon Bar Yochai envisioned a world where humanity is completely fulfilled, and we are connected to one another. This is the power of the Zohar and the source of all the wisdom of Kabbalah.
