  • The spiritual work means we will go between the levels of the souls as we rise and fall
  • The Lower 3 Categories of Angels:
    • Ofanim ("The Wheels") Lowest level of angel, relates to Malchut/ Nefesh/ Asiyah. When we are beginning our spiritual work, we are often at this level Wheels are sometimes up and sometimes down, like our connection or state
    • Chayot HaKodesh ("The Holy Animals") Relates to Zeir Anpin/ Ruach/ Yetzirah Every person has a part that is animal, but also has potential is to be holy When we are elevated above our desire to receive for the self alone or animal aspect, we ascend to this angelic level
    • Serafim ("A Burning or Fiery Being"): Relates to Binah/ Neshama/ Briyah Highest level of the three (other levels to be covered later) When person is burning with desire to connect to the Creator he is achieves the level of Seraphim
  • Certain Tzadikkim like the Kotzker Rebbe have been referred to as "The Saraf" Soul Grades & Their Aspects
  • Those of us at a lower level spiritually can still be connected in a higher way
  • Those of us who force and fights can achieve a connection like the tzadikim even if we are lower, because it's harder for us to connect
  • Nefesh includes all the 5 levels of soul: Everything is included in everything
  • We can achieve unlimited Light but we need to be conscious of it
  • When a person is feeling low, we have to know that what we're feeling now is not the totality of my being, it's just parts of us are not available right now
  • Know that while we are in the darkness and correcting, we help other souls too that we touched in our efforts of correction/ elevation
