Over the years Rav Berg has refered to the holiday of Sukkot as 50th Century technology. Every aspect of the sukkah, the hut that we build to establish our connections, is built according to precise details that allow us to connect to the Light of Mercy during this seven day period. Two of the tools that we use to draw Or d'Chassadim (Light of Mercy) are the Lulav and Etrog, which are also known as the Four Species.
The Lulav is made of myrtle branches, willow branches and a palm frond and the Etrog is a citron. By assembling them with consciousness revealed by the Ari, Rav Isaac Luria, they become a powerful tool connection in the sukkah. Join Rav Berg for this rarely heard advanced lecture from the archives revealing some of the consciousness of the Lulav and Etrog: the Four Species.
