Rav Yehuda Tzvi Brandwein was the student of Rav Ashlag, founder of The Kabbalah Centre, and the teacher of Rav Berg. To help us connect with the support available on the Day of Rav Brandwein's death, Michael provides us with more insight into who this key link in the lineage of the Centre is.
To discover more about Rav Brandwein read Education of a Kabbalist by Rav Berg and Beloved of My Soul which contains nearly 40 letters written by Rav Brandwein to Rav Berg.
When a kabbalistic sage leaves the world, a window of support and connection with all of the energy they have revealed during their life becomes available to us, particularly through study or visiting their gravesite. An especially powerful time to connect with the support of the righteous is on their Hilulah, the day that they departed our physical world. Hilulah literally means a day of celebration and by staying up late at night, sometimes until sunrise, studying about their lives and the wisdom they revealed we are able to tap into their energy and assistance to transform our own lives.
