Lesson Highlights

  • Shavuot: the end of weeks
  • Seven generations from Abraham to Moses, seven Shabbats from Pesach to Shavuot
  • The work of the 49 days of the Omer makes Shavuot special
  • The greater the darkness, the greater the Light that can be revealed
  • Eating dairy and wearing white: a continuous circle of sharing
  • We are part of the Light

Lesson Description

Join Karen as she reminds us that we are part of the Light and the importance of continuously looking for opportunities to share as we connect to the energy of immortality on Shavuot. The literal word for the holiday of Shavuot is weeks and it is the work that we do during the 49 days of the Omer that determines our level of connection on the this final culmination of all our work from beginning with the preparation of Passover during the month of Aries.

About This Course

Kabbalists teach that over 3,400 years ago, the entire world experienced the Revelation on Mount Sinai. For that brief moment, the true spiritual reality and the physical reality became one. Every year on the evening of the sixth day of the month of Gemini (Sivan) we can reconnect with the same energy of the Revelation at Mount Sinai through prayer and a special reading of the Torah Scroll. These connections awaken and ignite the energy of immortality.
