Rav Yosi HaÉ??Glili was a sage known for creating miracles who lived in the 1st and 2nd centuries of the common era. He was one of the Tannaim, the rabbis whose work was compiled in the Mishna. Rav Yosi was a contemporary and colleague of Rav Akiva, (teacher of Rav Shimon Bar Yochai).
Rav YosiÉ??s married life was unhappy. His wife frequently insulted him in the presence of his pupils and friends; on the advice of the latter he divorced her. When she married again and fell into difficult circumstances, he was magnanimous enough to support her and her husband. His unconditional service to others was the secret of his miracle-making power and his gravesite helps us purify ourselves of agenda, so we can taste the true power of spirituality.
The Kabbalah Centre has been hosting spiritual pilgrimages for more than 30 years. Our directors, Rav and Karen Berg began this tradition by taking a few students on humble journeys to remote locations that were introduced to them by their teachers. Today our adventures lead us to many of those original locations as well as destinations that have only recently been uncovered. These lectures, recorded during the 2012 Israel Energy Tour help us establish connections at these sacred sites and to the support of these Master Kabbalists.
