The kabbalists teach that there is no dissipation of energy, and that energy revealed during the Exodus from Egypt is available to us today during Pesach. Karen Berg, spiritual leader of the Kabbalah Centre, reveals the kabbalistic significance of this "Wholly Day" and how we can tap into this energy of freedom by opening our hearts and committing to the spiritual work of transformation. Karen concludes with a meditation on opening the heart.
Recorded at the Pesach 2016 International Event in New York, New York.
Our work in this world, as conscious beings is to rise above the limitation of our physical reality and begin to experience the wondrous world that exists “outside the box”. To think outside the box is to extricate ourselves from the grip of the ego. This is so difficult to do, and yet it is the purpose for which the Creator has prepared us – with the blessing of a perfectly constructed spiritual system. Pesach is the window of time that gives us the strength and creativity to design a reality outside of the box. This is the potential, this is what we are meant to strive for. On Pesach, the Creator of this world comes before us to assist us in rising above the box of the ego. Unshackling our soul from the constraints of the Desire to Receive. Freeing our mind of the thinking that brought us here in the first place. Allowing our spirit to guide our inspiration. The force of Pesach cuts through the barriers so that the Light can shine in and our spirit can expand outward.
