Lesson Highlights

  • Cleansing idol worship (addictions) in preparation of Pesach
  • Feeling a void: the source of a void is klipot (negative shells) that attach to the soul
  • The void demands energy
  • The punishment of feeding the klipot
  • Being taken over by a false identity: soul identity versus klipot identity
  • Purposeful resistance / restriction
  • Increasing certainty in the Light and care for others

Lesson Description

The Biblical portion of Tzav supports us in burning away ego before the holiday of Pesach.  Eitan explores how idol worship as discussed in this portion represents addiction, or anything we give control over to because of a void we feel.  By understanding the source of the void, we can overcome any addiction and reveal our true self.
