Lesson Highlights

  • Panim Masbirot from Rav Ashlag
  • In the Thought of Creation, there is no time; every process is complete
  • Human beings experience the process of having a thought that is followed by an action
  • When we do the Restriction of staying in the realm before Tzimtzum, the thoughts that arise within us are the thoughts of the Creator
  • These thoughts prompt us to ask what type of fulfillment our Vessel wants from the Light
  • Once we have these types of thoughts, we already have the fulfillment; the Light emanates to us immediately
  • The Endless Light that emanates from the thought of the Creator (for His created beings to enjoy its beneficence) came with the Desire to Receive its beneficence engraved (stamped) within it
  • The Light can only be drawn if there is a Vessel (Desire to Receive). The Vessel determines how and where the Light emanates
  • Anything that does not contain within it the thought of the Creator will not remain forever because only the Light of the Creator lasts forever

Homework: Every time you practice Restriction, observe the types of thoughts that come to you. Take a moment to appreciate these are the thoughts of the Creator and know that simply thinking these thoughts already triggers Light to emanate to you.

Lesson Description

In this lesson, Yehuda expands on the concept of using restriction to align our thoughts with the thoughts of the Creator. Learn how this alignment allows us to bypass a certain level of ‘process,’ removing the space between desire and fulfillment.

About This Course

Rav Yehuda Ashlag, renowned founder of The Kabbalah Centre, wrote several seminal kabbalistic texts that illustrate key understandings for applying the ancient wisdom into our lives. Amongst his works is a book on the Tree of Life – otherwise known as the Ten Emanations/Sefirot that make up our reality – which provides a foundation on how to connect with the consciousness behind each of the Ten Emanations, giving us the ability to awaken that particular level in our life. Join us for an in-depth study of each of the Ten Emanations as detailed in Rav Ashlag’s book, 'Tree of Life with Panim Meirot and Panim Masbirot'. As we study Rav Ashlag’s powerful insights into the Sefirot, we’ll learn how to build a unified consciousness with the intention of elevating not only ourselves, but the entire world to a level free from pain and suffering.
