Here are some tips to help you formulate and execute your health goals!
1) Avoid Oversharing! BEWARE. Sharing your goals with all your friends on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok and announcing them to your co-workers lulls you into a false sense of success. According to Kabbalah, the brain cannot discern the difference between words and action, giving us a premature sense of completeness, leading to a lack of motivation to see the goal through.
2) Small changes lead to big changes! You don’t have to make huge changes; just small change after small change eventually adds up to great change.
3) It’s all about intention.. and the Belief that you CAN. And I know that you can!
Today you are going to implement your health goal plan.
How is it going? Do you feel like your health goals are well within your capability of achieving? Did you make your goals specific and manageable? Remember, small change after small change adds up to great change.
One of the best ways to set yourself up for success is to identify your support systems. Try a weight loss, yoga, or running app. There is an app for everything from pilates to meditation.
According to Kabbalah, our environment—including our family, coworkers, and friends—have an immense influence on our thoughts and behaviors. Enlisting the help of a friend or partner is an easy way to build accountability into your plan. Can you find a work-out buddy, weight loss partner, or running pal?
Share your goals with trusted friends or partners. Studies show that enlisting help (not announcing our intentions) to achieve our goals makes us more accountable and thereby more likely to follow through.
