Lesson Highlights

  • Challenges always start in the mind
  • We are tested when we don’t want to do the work
  • Restriction is that against our need for instant gratification, it is relative to each one of us
  • Restriction could be translated into letting go, holding on, working harder, or stopping addictions
  • Truly change draws everything we desire
  • Being reactive or being with the Light: two different forces that don’t coexist
  • The Chanukah candles give us surrounding light for protection
  • Infinite blessings come by being with the Light
  • When there is drama, the best thing to do is nothing, read a book, connect with nature, and have a connection with the infinite Light vs. a linear experience of pressure, anxiety, stress, worry, evil speech and chaos
  • Being with the Light involves being in the heart, being simple, and no drama

Lesson Description

Kabbalah teaches that restriction is the key to expanding our vessel and receiving everything we desire. Restriction encompasses all the types of spiritual work we need to do when going through a challenge and experiencing lack. This lesson also covers valuable insights about how the powerful energy of Chanukah helps us expand our consciousness.

About This Course

As we strive to live the teachings of Kabbalah as a spiritual path, we can fall into the trappings of learning without putting effort into our spiritual work of transforming our nature. When we become complacent, we stop seeing the results and miracles we are working to create. In Practical Kabbalah, David Ghiyam teaches a practical approach to personal transformation using kabbalistic tools and windows in time that, with consistent effort, can assist us in experiencing change and greater fulfillment in three major areas of life; relationships, health and finances.
