Born and raised in Manila, Philippines, Ria worked as a television broadcaster for twenty years. During this time, she produced a feature on The Kabbalah Centre’s very first event in the Philippines in 2006. She was immediately drawn to the profound, yet easy-to-apply, concepts of the wisdom, and soon became a dedicated student, exuberant volunteer, and Spirituality for Kids (SFK) teacher.
From the start, Ria felt strongly that people in her part of the world stood to benefit immensely from the Centre's life-changing knowledge and tools. She took to heart the kabbalistic understanding that everything in our lives exists to propel us towards our greatest potential. As one of the Philippines Study Group leaders for many years, Ria helped set up the Philippines Kabbalah Centre – the very first in Asia. She officially became a Kabbalah Centre Instructor in 2016.
Ria’s light and practical teaching style reflects her ability to take deep concepts and communicate them effectively to her students. Her goal is to empower others with the same confidence to fully engage life she has gained through the study and application of Kabbalah. Ria lives in her hometown of Manila with her husband and four children.
