You might find yourself wittier than ever today, and full of enthusiasm. The greatest power in Mercury and Jupiter’s current conjunction is in our ability to speak up with excitement. We might feel the wind of extra curiosity and desire to listen, learn, speak and explore. This planetary alignment can potentially give us a lot of energy!
However, since those two planets are in the sign of Scorpio, we need to be careful and pay attention to how we speak. Be careful not to “kill” someone with your words, and pay attention especially when wanting to give someone the “brutal truth.”
Before speaking, asking yourself: Is it true? Is it necessary? Is it kind?

Utilize your passion towards supporting global efforts. With Mars in Aquarius we can feel a desire to act and be an active part in moving toward a greater purpose. This energy can encourage us to get involved and support a global cause that we strongly believe in. We should take advantage of this energy. Get involved! Volunteer! Actively support any great cause today.
At the same time, hold your horses when it comes to feeling a desire to win, compete, or push towards personal recognition.
The most selfless acts of charity are those done anonymously.

Today, we may all find ourselves a little more gifted than usual when it comes to intuition, and this will help especially in our communications with others. This gift is combined with gaining a greater ability to express ourselves with more sensitivity. Today, try to feel the person in front of you before we you speak to them, especially if you intend on sharing any idea or giving any advice. Before you speak, be sure the other person is open to listen. By feeling where the other person is, we can deliver the message in a way that will create a more positive impact.
Also, a word of warning: Today will not be the best day to be unpredictable, break up, or bring up any shocking news that might affect your closer relationships in a negative way. No matter how justified you feel, see if you can wait on it a week or two when you’ll be standing on much more positive ground for taking such drastic measures.

Are you feeling foolish today? Mercury is moving into the sign of Sagittarius which can lead to some adventurous ideas. The challenge today might be in sticking to our detailed plans and following through in manifestation. We can get distracted by seeing only the big picture, wanting to spend more money, or jumping to taking risks without a thorough plan.
On the other hand, this is a great opportunity to lighten up. If there are areas in life where you feel stuck, heavy, or fearful (examples: fear of public speaking, or jumping into the water) today can be a good day to break down those barriers and conquer your fears.
November 1
Today is a good day for being in harmony with yourself. Today, with Venus opposition to Uranus, we can experience a conflict between our desire to connect with people and the desire to break free and be on our own. This can be very tricky. Not being sure what your feelings are can lead to emotional unbalance. We should be careful in the way we deal with our money and our partners today. Try not to make any extreme decisions, break ups, or end any sort of partnerships today.
That said, it’s ok to dare to visualize a better reality. It’s important to see where in your life you do need to break free. Don’t be afraid of recognizing any aspects of your relationships and financial situation that don’t serve you anymore. Just hold off on making any drastic decisions, for now.

Venus in Libra is double the romance! Today take advantage of this romantic energy and make some sweet gestures towards your love ones. If you are not in a relationship and you want to “charm” someone, today you have the cosmic support to go ahead and initiate, ask someone out, express what you really feel about the person, and move one step closer to each other.
The challenge of today is in becoming too influenced by other people’s opinions. As opposed to focusing on what others tell you, take some time to close your eyes, meditate, and feel what your soul is trying to tell you instead.
November 3 - Shabbat Chayei Sarah
Mercury, the planet of communication, being in Sagittarius, which desires to feel freedom and no attachment, can create tendencies to speak without thinking and to avoid all responsibility. Of course as Kabbalah students, we realize this is a perfect opportunity to grow! Apply a little restriction and consider what you say before saying it. Take responsibility for everything, and that will keep you in the driver’s seat.
Spiritual teachings only become wisdom when we begin to apply them to our everyday lives. This is a great time to “walk the talk,” and put our spirituality to the test.
