Shmuel Har Sinai

Born in Iran, Shmuel and his family moved to Holon, Israel, when he was two months old. He studied at Singalovsky College in Tel Aviv, earning his degree in electrical engineering, and after college parlayed his skills into opening an electric planning business. Yet despite his relative success, Shmuel felt he had always been looking for something that would give him more meaning in life. He discovered that his sister had started studying at The Kabbalah Centre in New York, and felt it was a calling. In 1991, he visited the Centre in Israel and has been a dedicated student and teacher ever since.

Shmuel had always felt pain witnessing the injustice that exists in the world. Through the wisdom of Kabbalah, he came to understand that there is a reason for every outcome that we see in this reality, that there is greater good beyond current pain. In the Centre, Shmuel found genuine inspiration, profound spiritual truths, and a powerful sense of community. In 1994, he officially became a chevre and began teaching the wisdom that had so indelibly changed his life. He approaches his classes with sensitivity and care, truly trying to see his students for who they are. He sees his work as planting the seeds for individuals to grow and transform, which eventually will lead to peace and cooperation between all nations.

Shmuel lives in Tel Aviv with his wife and three sons.
