This week we are headed into the Full Moon of the month of Sagittarius. The sun is in Sagittarius and the Moon is in Gemini. So, here we have the axis of the nervous system and the circulation of blood and oxygen in our bodies. It is the nexus of the choices we make, the lessons we learn, and travels we go on.
The Moon (the nourishment of the body) just left the conjunction with Jupiter where there is a lot of emphasis on the respiratory system and the nervous system. By the time we arrive at the Full Moon, the cosmos is already loaded with Gemini energy, which is about collecting information. The challenge here is to find the right boundaries in our lives.
It is said that we are where our thoughts are. Meaning, our life flows where our thoughts direct us. It is a good time to reflect on that. What do we spend time thinking about during the day? Most of us want peace, love, harmony, and all good things. But if we judge others in a negative way or lose appreciation for what we have, we miss important opportunities to invite blessings into our lives. Avoid gossip, sharing uninspiring words, or choosing situations and people we know are negative for us. Doing so makes it hard to go in the direction of fulfilling the good potential that exists inside us.
During the Full Moon, Mercury is stationed to go direct. As it shines bright in the sky, it brings good energy for research or shedding light on situations we did not understand before. However, we can be prone to strong opinions and having an argumentative nature. So, be aware. As we head into the holiday season—where it is all about family gathering and connecting to people we love—we can maintain appreciation, positive communication, and awe by tapping into this energy. It is a good time to strengthen our nervous systems and enhance the natural immunities of our bodies.
On Tuesday, the Moon moves to Leo and there it will conjunct Mars. But before that, it will be in opposition to Pluto, so there will be intense emotions. Some things end and new things will begin. Past events may take their toll. Right after, the Moon is in conjunction with Mars, which can bring a lot of emotional frustration or ups and downs. The Moon will also square Uranus, which means things can suddenly happen in a way we did not expect. Remember that everything that happens is part of our journey of growth. Embrace it, even if it seems negative. Ask yourself: What are the blessings the Creator wants to give me through this situation?
Breathe deeply and relax. Remember: everything is about circuitry, especially if you are a fire sign, like Leo. Work with love and open your heart in true humility. The power of Mars is strong at this time, so use it in a positive way without creating walls in our hearts.
The Sun squares Neptune on Wednesday, so make sure that if you are signing an important contract or you are doing anything that needs small details, go over it a few times. Be careful not to fake promises or a story.
Venus, the planet of love and money, will be more stubborn than ever on Friday. Think of how to create bridges between you and others, how to open your heart to true love, and how to accommodate others—not just in a philosophical way, but from the heart. It is a good time to volunteer and do something for humanity.
The Sun moves to Capricorn on Saturday, and here we are at the winter solstice. The energy of winter is cold and wet. Like an introvert, the energy goes inside. We may feel more inclined to stay indoors or cozy up at home than to go out and about.
The kabbalists teach that this week is about the importance of movement and happiness. Naturally, we are attracted to being comfortable and content, but sometimes being too comfortable and too content can prevent us from moving forward. Stasis can bring problems. As the planets communicate, it is important for us not to fall into exaggeration of any kind. Make sure that you are calming your mind and body. Make choices according to the desires of your soul and communicate love to the people around you.
