The kabbalists call the Shabbat of Beshalach Shabbat Shirah or Shabbat of the Song. The revelation of Light on this Shabbat is such that anything that we do can take away from the potential energy that is revealed. We ultimately have a choice: we can either choose to reveal our greatness, to take the opportunities that come our way or ignore them. We must decide if we believe in ourselves. Michael provides us with a deeper level of appreciation for Shabbat Beshalach and how we can connect in such a way that we bring the entire world closer to the Final Redemption.
