The portion of Behar-Bechukotai not only provides us with the gift of true certainty, where we able to go beyond logic, but also helps us to go through a process of true growth where we break our shells and see how much farther we have to go on our path. As Michael reveals, if we are truly doing our spiritual work, we must see that no matter how much effort we make, relative to the level we should achieve we have done nothing. This experience is a positive sign that we are doing our spiritual work and will reach our potential.
