Binah is the third emanation of the upper world, which acts as a storehouse of energy and has the ability to transmit all that Light to Zeir Anpin and from there to our physical world. There are two cosmic windows where our physical world connects directly to the energy of Binah. One of them is Rosh Hashanah. The other window is Yom Kippur.
