Born and raised in Mexico City, David also lived in the USA for 25 years, where he received BAs in business administration and photography. In 1996, while looking for a different type of connection for Rosh Hashanah, David walked into The Kabbalah Centre in Miami. He soon realized that he had found his spiritual home.
In 2004 David and his family moved back to Mexico City where he had been teaching as an enthusiastic and passionate volunteer at the Mexico Centre. He has worked with several Centre initiatives, including Spirituality For Kids, and helped create Proyecto SER, an outreach program that teaches Kabbalah in correctional institutions. David received Karen Berg's blessing to work and teach Kabbalah in 2016. He teaches in-person classes, online courses, and assists students as a personal instructor.
David is dedicated to studying and sharing the wisdom of Kabbalah. Inspired by the lineage and the kabbalistic sages of past, as well as his teachers and many of the Center´s contemporary instructors, he finds great enthusiasm in seeing students assume responsibility over their lives. He feels blessed to be sharing this path with his family. David and his wife, Yamila, live in Mexico City.
