Born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil, Devorah has a background in law and has been serving as a judge since 2000. Her focus has been on protecting the rights of children and teenagers, particularly those in abusive family situations. Her journey into Kabbalah began in 2009 when a friend invited her to a lecture at the Centre in São Paulo, and the concepts she heard immediately resonated with her.
Kabbalah has profoundly transformed Devorah's approach to life and relationships. Through her studies, she has learned to build leadership and trust among her colleagues, fostering a supportive and loving work environment. The teachings of Kabbalah have also helped her recognize and nurture her own talents, leading to a more fulfilling personal and professional life. Devorah's passion for Kabbalah extended into teaching after a pivotal conversation with Karen Berg during Sukkot in Tel Aviv in 2017, which led her to complete teacher training in New York later that year. She began teaching Kabbalah 1 in March 2018 and has found great joy in helping students discover their truths and talents. As a teacher, she values truth, trust, and the diverse perspectives of her students, always aiming to learn and grow alongside them.
Beyond her professional and teaching roles, Devorah is an avid dancer, dedicating time daily to connect with and express her soul through dance. She lives and teaches in São Paulo.
