Although she was born in Cairo, Egypt, Louna grew up in Brazil, where she moved when she was two years old. She studied Architecture and Feng Shui in college, after which she opened an architectural firm. Though she appeared to be successful and happy, for much of her life Louna was dissatisfied with the dogmatic traditions she was raised in and was always searching for something more in life. Around the year 2000, Louna was in New York when a friend brought her to the Centre; immediately, the teachings resonated with her soul and when she went back to Brazil, she dove into the study of Kabbalah. She feels that the wisdom provides profound answers to life’s biggest questions and helps us discover who we really are – it was the place she had been looking for all her life.
In 2014, Louna began giving the occasional lecture at the Centre in Sāo Paulo and, in 2016, she became an official teacher. She is practical in her classes, bringing examples from daily life that illustrate how we can be in control of our life. Thorough, genuinely enthusiastic, and sometimes even a little tough, she is very open with students and is always learning in her teachings and mentoring. By sharing the wisdom of Kabbalah, she believes she is helping people become better versions of themselves and, in turn, they are making the world a better place.
Louna has been married for 44 years and has two children and four grandkids. She currently lives in São Paulo, where she teaches and mentors students in Brazil and Portugal.
