Meir Yeshurun wants to change the world, but before discovering Kabbalah he pursued this goal by rising to power in politics and international business. He held several positions in the upper echelons of Israeli government, including assistant to the finance minister, and assistant to chief of staff for Prime Minister Menachem Begin. Frustrated by the machinations of the political system, Meir entered the private sector and worked as the vice president of an international trading firm. In 1998 he discovered that the real tool for global transformation is Kabbalah, and in 1989 he became a full-time Kabbalah Centre volunteer. Since then, Meir’s intellectual integrity, practical worldly experience, and infectious passion for life have connected him with students around the globe. He has managed, taught, and/or helped open Kabbalah Centres in Tel Aviv, Haifa, Tiberias, Boca Raton, Philadelphia, Chicago, and Berlin. Meir is now teaching and residing in Israel with his wife Osnat, also a Kabbalah teacher, and together they have two sons who teach at centres in New York City and London.
