Born in Mexico City, Michael learned about Kabbalah through his mother, who was studying at The Kabbalah Centre in Mexico. After meeting personally with his mother's teacher, the late Shimon Sarfati, Michael took a teacher training and became an instructor at the Centre in December of 2011.
Michael views his teaching work as a curatorship, carefully guiding each student on a personalized path to experience the wisdom of Kabbalah in a unique way while highlighting the importance of actively participating in the global and local community of the Centre. He has a degree in Psychology, a Master's and Doctorate in Depth Psychology, and a specialty in Family Constellations. He is certified in Somatic Experiencing bodywork for the resolution of psycho-biological trauma, as well as a personalized training in indigenous African community technologies. These studies, along with his experience in familial/marital affairs and physical body matters from a trauma-informed perspective, have helped him understand students on various life paths. Safety, respect, compassion, and love are pillars in each of his sessions with students seeking transformation and greater well-being. Michael currently lives in Mexico City and he gives in-person and online sessions in English and Spanish.
