Join Karen in this lecture before Neila, the final prayer of Yom Kippur, as she reveals how we can ascend our prayers of the heart to the throne of the Creator.
"Where your soul can go today, it can't go at any other time of the year. Where do you truly want to be? Wherever that is, you have to be there on Yom Kippur." –Michael Berg What if you could go back in time and cancel all of the instances in which you may have caused another person pain or suffering? There is, in fact, a way we can travel through time to rectify negative instances at the root level, a cosmic opening to the 99% reality that occurs on only one day of the year: Yom Kippur. Through fasting, specific prayers and meditations, we connect to the elevated spiritual state of Binah, a level of consciousness in which time does not exist. A person who is fully immersed in Binah consciousness genuinely loves to do nothing but good in this world; without the handicap of linear time, the amount of Light this person can reveal is staggering. Now imagine hundreds of people with Binah consciousness working together to eradicate pain and suffering – past and present – and you begin to grasp the power of Yom Kippur. Going back in time to correct selfish, hurtful actions benefits not only the victims, but the aggressor as well. As we connect to the energy of Binah during Yom Kippur, we draw and manifest health, wealth, joy, and general fulfillment in our life – for the entire year to come.
