Batsheva speaks of the combined portion Nitsavim-Vayechelech, and the work of introspection that we must do before Rosh HaShanah. For during this powerful cosmic opening we should only focus on injecting compassion, mercy and love towards everything around us. And it reminds us that in order to change we need the desire, to examine where we have created spaces and separation with other people and with creation, and to promote unity with others and with all of creation.
