The Journey to the Beginning of the Endless

As we move together through the upcoming 28 days of the month of Elul (Virgo), we will tap into the beauty, strength, and power that reside within each one of us.

The month of Elul presents the greatest cosmic window of opportunity of the year for us to embark on a journey of self-examination in an effort to bring ourselves back to our soul’s “seed level,” or virgin state of existence. It is the month of the year when the sun is closest to the Earth, and spiritually the time when we are closest to the Light of the Creator.

The Hebrew letters that make up the word Elul alef, lamed, vav, lamed—are an acronym for the phrase from King Solomon’s Song of Songs: ani l’dodi v’dodi li, meaning “I am to my beloved and my beloved is to me,” a phrase that describes beautifully our proximity to the Light in this period.

At this time of year, we receive the power to let go of the beliefs, emotions, and behaviors that no longer serve us, and to understand that no matter what blockages are causing us to experience the illusion of being separated from the Light, there is always a way back.

By using the spiritual Light uniquely available during this cosmic window to see what those blockages are, we can use the kabbalistic method of teshuvah to remove them. As we do so, we will experience the profound realization that we are, always have been, and always will be one with God.

It is said in the Zohar that at the beginning of Elul, we are achor el achor, meaning “back to back,” with the Creator, and by the end of Elul, we are panim el panim, “face to face.”

What does it mean to be “back to back”? This posture represents any place where we experience the illusion of separation from the Light. It is the place where we experience fear, chaos, confusion, anger, hatred, and many other kinds of negative emotions. It is where we hold beliefs that keep us from realizing our Divine nature and our interconnectedness with all beings. Whatever the root of this concealment is and wherever it lies, the result is that our backs are turned to the Light of the Creator and consequently to each other. We draw into ourselves, locking into the “me.”

In this state, when someone offends us, it is all too easy for us to shut them out, to become difficult with them or to not accept them anymore. The moment somebody does or says something that is against the way we think or feel, it is all too easy for us to cut the ties, to stand firm in the “back to back” position.

But the Creator is different, and this month of Elul is testament to the fact that no matter what, there is always a door of acceptance open for us to return to our Divine Essence. For this reason, I would like to invite you to join me in a free 28 day experience called “A Journey to the Beginning of the Endless” where we will be guided through a process to find, face, and release all of those things that keep us withdrawn.

On each day of this journey, you will be receiving daily messages and videos designed to help you clean and clear old patterns, open the heart, and return to the Light we all have within.

In the first week of this 28 experience, we will learn the kabbalistic meaning of teshuvah (repentance), turning all we thought we knew about repentance on its head as we focus on how to assume 100% responsibility for everything we experience.

In weeks two and three, we will systematically address eight common issues we all face such as victim consciousness, lack, blame, and the inability to forgive ourselves and others. By identifying and understanding these issues in our minds, we can release the stagnant energy associated with them from the seven major energy centers of our body, and then work on healing them at the soul level through the process of teshuvah. This process combines the 72 Names of God, a series of body-brain exercises, and kabbalistic meditations, in a truly “wholistic” experience of body, mind, and soul.

By week four, we will be ready to receive the tools, information, and inspiration to identify our unique spark of Light, that Divine Energy inside each of us that we can reveal for the coming year.

As we do this work, we will realize the truth that no matter what, the Creator’s Light is always open and ready to greet us. When we turn ourselves towards the Light, we can not only stand “face to face,” but we can also recognize and experience the Divine Light that connects us all.
