To commemorate the 10 year anniversary of September 11th, The Kabbalah Centre of New York hosted a peace conference presented by Karen Berg’s initiative “Peace Thru People” on September 11, 2011. Over 400 guests attended as an inspirational panel of diverse spiritual leaders, including Karen Berg, Jesuit Father Patrick Ryan, S.J. and Shaykha Fariha Al Jerrahi of the Nur Ashki Jerrahi Sufi Order, shared their views and ideas on creating collective peace. The conference opened with a thought-provoking lecture given by Karen. Early in the morning, on Friday, August 12th, an entourage of 27 busses split into groups and conveyed students of The Kabbalah Centre throughout Jerusalem to the connection sites of the day.  These sites included the resting places of Rav Ashlag, Rav Brandwein, Rachel the Matriarch and Samuel the Prophet, to name a few. The Kabbalah Centre’s third jam-packed Israel Energy Tour kicked off on Wednesday, August 10th. The commencement of this 7-day trip followed the observance of Tisha B’Av, a holiday known by ancient kabbalists to be one of the most powerful days of the year.
