The Sochi Winter Olympics were the first Olympic Games to be held in Russia since the breakup of the former Soviet Union. To provide Light and protection for the Games, the Zohar Project Russia disseminated Zohars to athletes, officials, security, fans, and to participants in the Winter Paralympics.

“We think that sports are very important for the Zohar Project,” says a Moscow Centre student, “Because sport primarily means overcoming yourself and the removal of restrictions.” Seven volunteers from The Kabbalah Centre – Moscow distributed Zohars in Sochi before the Olympics began. Their goal was to cover Sochi and all of its Olympic venues with the protection of the Zohar. “We didn’t choose to whom we presented the Zohar, rather, our idea was to present it to all of the Russian teams before the Olympics,” says the student.

The Zohar Project volunteers placed Zohars in Olympic sites throughout Sochi, including the Rosa Khutor extreme park, the Ice Cube arena, the...

Students of The Kabbalah Centre know that the best way to reveal Light in the world is to give of themselves. Whether it be their time, their money, their energy – Kabbalah Centre students actively seek out ways to share with the world.

Diana Torres, a student of the Miami Kabbalah Centre for two years, will run in the Miami Marathon this year on February 2nd. Three other Miami Centre students will run half-marathons as well. Similar to David Bernstein’s New York Marathon run, Diana’s goal is to raise funds and awareness of the Zohar and the Zohar Project.

Kabbalah Centre volunteers often look for creative ways to reveal Light in the world. This fall, one student developed a particularly inventive way to raise funds for the Zohar Project. David Bernstein, a student and Zohar Project team leader, decided he would complete a life-long dream by running in the New York City Marathon – and raise awareness and money for the Zohar Project in the process.

David had been fascinated with the New York City Marathon since he was a child, and entered the lottery to run in the race on a whim. The event has a lottery system in place to fairly mete out race spots, as...

In the summer of 2012, the Mexico Kabbalah Centre launched a special outreach program in an effort to provide powerful kabbalistic tools to people living in correctional facilities in Mexico City. Proyecto Ser, which literally means ‘Project To Be’, is named for its acronym in Spanish, Proyecto Socio Emocional de Reintegración, or the ‘Social and Emotional Reintegration Project’. Since the program’s inception, 1,585 inmates have been reached. This year, Proyecto Ser has undertaken the teaching of ongoing Kabbalah classes in a total of five men’s and women’s prisons in...

According to the kabbalists, the holiday of Rosh Hashanah – which marks the New Year – is a time when students of Kabbalah can transcend space and time to remove judgments they’ve incurred with their words and actions throughout the previous year. Each individual’s personal movie script for the entire upcoming year is determined by that individual’s connection to the Light available on Rosh Hashanah. As one of the most powerful days of the year, Rosh Hashanah merits a global celebration and connection to the Light of the Creator.

The Kabbalah Centre hosted the annual Rosh Hashanah connection in Anaheim for the second year in a row. Over 3,500 students were in attendance, representing dozens of different nations throughout the world. As Karen Berg, Spiritual Leader of The...

In the midst of such chaos in my life, I have been able to find peace through studying Kabbalah. Without any doubts whatsoever, I would highly recommend anyone to call. I am so thankful for The Kabbalah Centre, because it has made all the difference in my spiritual growth and development.

- Susan Perry Simpson

Kabbalah is the best gift I have had this year. But it did not come easy. It is a result of a lot of hard, focused, and disciplined work my teacher guided me through. Often I had to go out of my comfort zone to apply the tools. But the satisfaction and confidence I now feel is indescribable.

- Sam Parnaso

Now I look back and question what exactly I did and how I managed without these teachings in my life.
