Posted In: Kabbalah Centre International Posted On: September 30, 2012

Centre Welcomes New Yorkers to Celebrate and Share Energy of Sukkot at Sukkah Site on 53rd and Lexington (610 Lexington)

New York, NY -- The New York Kabbalah Centre kicked off a weeklong celebration of Sukkot today in New York City by unveiling its Sukkah, which will be open to the public for services from September 30-October 8. A sukkah, which is an instrument of peace, is a symbolic temporary dwelling celebrated during the festival of Sukkot, a time of joy and rejoice. As taught by the Kabbalah Centre, the sukkah is an instrument that provides people a chance to connect to their surrounding light and potential.

Kabbalah Centre teaches that the Sukkah is meant to be experienced by all nations, as it is an ancient and universal spiritual instrument designed to emanate the light of peace and abundance for the world.  The Centre welcomes the diverse community of New York to celebrate this week at the Sukkah located at 53rd and Lexington, where the organization will host daily meditations, sending light and positively to all the nations of the world.

“Sukkot is about joy and abundance personally and globally for all,” said Eitan Yardeni.  One of the themes of Sukkot is about moving from permanent structures to temporary ones--letting down walls--opening the walls of our hearts--allowing for greater openness. We welcome the people of the great city of New York to share this light and well wishes with us, as we seek peace and abundance for the world.”

The New York Kabbalah Centre community of more than one thousand people is a diverse multi-faithed community that studies, applies what they learn and participates in events/holidays with like minded people.  The Centre, which provides people with a point of connectivity, teaches ancient wisdom, including universal truths that explain how energy works and how to grow and apply what you learn.  The centre provides opportunities for people to connect to events and Kabbalah teachings at 40 Centres around the world and through streamed study groups online.  The teachings and spiritual practice is derived from Kabbalistic texts from a lineage of kabbalistic masters.

In the midst of such chaos in my life, I have been able to find peace through studying Kabbalah. Without any doubts whatsoever, I would highly recommend anyone to call. I am so thankful for The Kabbalah Centre, because it has made all the difference in my spiritual growth and development.

Kabbalah is the best gift I have had this year. But it did not come easy. It is a result of a lot of hard, focused, and disciplined work my teacher guided me through. Often I had to go out of my comfort zone to apply the tools. But the satisfaction and confidence I now feel is indescribable.

Now I look back and question what exactly I did and how I managed without these teachings in my life.
